Salford The Lowry rainy view at dusk

The Lowry arts centre in Salford Quays, seen from the entrance to the nearby Lowry Galleria designer outlet or shopping centre. The Lowry was designed by architect Michael Wilford who also designed the British Embassy in Berlin.

With its metallic exterior orange lighting, the Lowry has the effect of a giant domestic heating appliance. I love it.
