As part of Futuresonic 2007, composer and artist Ray Lee performed his unique sound installation Siren in Victoria Baths pool number three, former womens pool.
29 tripods were set up on the base of the empty pool. Each tripod supported a rotating arm with a speaker at either end. Each speaker emitted a continuous tone. When combined, the tones echoed through the hall with an eerie choral sound.
