This image illustrates my proposed amendment to the Cheshire County Council boundary signs. This one is at the entrance to the county council area at the bridge over the River Dean on the A5102 between Poyton and Wilmslow.

At the moment the 'Cheshire' signs are misleading as they make no distinction between the area covered by the present county council, and the historic northern boundary of Cheshire, which runs along the rivers Tame and Mersey to the north. I propose to add the words 'County Council area' under the word Cheshire.
