New York panorama from Liberty Park New Jersey

Panorama of New York from Midtown far left to Lower Manhattan on the right. We are on the New Jersey side of the Hudson looking from Liberty Park. The Empire State Buidling can be seen rising from Midtown. On the far right is Brooklyn.

I cannot get used to the Lower Manhattan skyline without the Twin Towers. The towers were a crowning element of the skyline, which now looks diminished and scarred without them. They made the New York skyline instantly recognisable. I would still prefer them to have been rebuilt, like the Frauenkirche in Dresden but I take into account the wishes of the Sept 11 families.
