Chimneys, pylons and other structures relating to chemical manufacturing processes rise up against a spectacular red sky at dusk. The Stanlow Manufacturing Complex is situated on low lying land to the south of the Mersey in north west Cheshire. Stanlow was a source of inspiration for Andy McCluskey, co-founder of the band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
