Demolition of Holland

Holland's Mill, on Shaw Heath, Stockport, is under demolition in July 2007.

Mills are an integral part of the character of many northern towns and wherever possible they should be retained. It's a shame this building is being destroyed. Due to its size and character it is a dominating feature in this part of Stockport, which will never be quite the same again after the building has disappeared. I went to Our Lady's Primary School just five walk from here
