Caernarfon /Caernarvon Castle seen from end of harbour

The castle and the adjoning walled town is the main feature of the town of Caernarfon (formerly written as Caernarvon) in north west Wales. Here the castle with its distinctive crenellated towers is seen from the end of the harbour, with boats moored on the right.

The castle dominates the town. With its historical and regal connections Caernarfon Castle is one of the most important attractions in Wales.
