Dublin Bay as seen from the starboard rear deck of the Stena Line high speed ferry. The two foamy trails left by the powerful propellers of the craft merge into one and recede to the horizon. The hill above Dun Laoghaire can just be seen on the left. Soon the Irish coastline will disappear as the craft heads for Holyhead. As a child I looked at this view sailing either to or from Ireland on the Cambria or Hibernia which operated during the 1960's. The Stena HSS was built in 1995. See an interesting description of the Stena HSS on the Dun Laoghaire harbour site About the photos This image is from the portfolio of Aidan O'Rourke photographer writer website publisher.
