The two photos were taken just a couple of hours apart on Sunday 4 November 2007. The first was the Virgin Train departure from Stockport to London Euston, which left c 1.50pm. The other image was the East Lancashire Railway departure from Heywood to Bury Bolton St which left not long after 3.15pm. Vantage point for the Virgin Trains image was Stockholm Road railway bridge near Adswood. The ELR train was taken from the narrow Schofield Stret bridge over the railway.
