The train and part of the platform was cut out of a picture taken at Lille Eurostar station and pasted into Manchester Piccadilly (formerly London Rd Station) platform two. Eurostar was to have operated from Manchester to the continent but the idea was shelved. The depot at Longsight still bears the words 'Le Eurostar habite ici'.
