CityPoint tower is an office building on the northern edge of the City of London near the Barbican Centre. Up till the construction of the Swiss Re, 30 St Mary's Axe, it was the second tallest building in the City of London.
CityPoint tower is the result of the refurbishment of the earlier Brittanic House, built in 1967. The refurbishment was carried out by Sheppard Robson. The address is 1 Ropemaker Street.
It may not be the tallest building in London but it's certainly one of the most impressive, making a massive, solid impression. Its wide podium tapers to a rectangular glass tower with curved edges.
