Blind Lane is just of Devonshire Street Ardwick. It is a cobbled street that extends under the main railway line from PIccadilly and passes along the disused viaduct that curves north towards Ashton Old Rd. In places such as this you can still get a sense of the old Manchester. The derelict railway viaducts and setts are relics of another age. Though they don't fit in with the 'modern' image of Manchester, they are often far more interesting than recently-constructed roads and buildings and were actually 'modern' in their time.
