View of the upper facade of Castlefield Locks, a contemporary style apartment building on Ellesmere just off Chester Rd, around half a mile along the A56 from the Hilton Tower. This former industrial area has been redeveloped with apartment buildings, but many industrial units remain in use, giving the area a mixed character.

The sign is advertising apartments and penthouses. The development has underground parking, a 24 hour concierge and a unique 'comfort cooling' system. This photo was taken for use in a local publication. Using the zoom lens I cropped the image to focus on the facade, excluding the street and neighbouring industrial buildings
