Standing on the bridge that carries the A6 over the M60 (former M63, completed 1986) motorway in Stockport town centre, we are looking west towards the railway viaduct (completed in the early 1840s). Visible further along the motorway is the Blue Pyramid by M60 junction number one. The cars have left light trails during the 8 second exposure. On the left is the road that forms part of the A560, which runs on an east-west axis through Stockport. The time is 6.15pm on Wednesday 5 March, 2008.
