View south across the Manchester conurbation from a hot air balloon over Heaton Park. This view is from higher up than the linked image below. I would estimate around 1200 feet. The ground extends like a carpet below, with the buildings of Manchester city centre spread out across the centre of the field of view. The Pennines are visible in the distance.
