Dubai clock tower stands in the middle of the roundabout of the same name on Airport Road roughly midway between the downtown area of Bur Dubai and the International Airport. Its sweeping concrete arms support a cube-shaped four-faced clock currently showing 10.38. The structure was refurbished around 2000 and looks almost brand new. Our viewpoint is the fifth floor of the Embassy Suites building.

It's amazing that the when the clock tower was built around the mid-sixties it stood on its own in the middle of an empty area of sand.
