The colonnade of Manchester town hall extension, looking from the St Peters Square end towards Princess Street. This beautiful series of arches is part of a building that dates from the 1930s. I have removed the street background and inserted a section of a photo of Morecambe Bay, looking out towards the sea.
This is a test image for my Stereo Photo Art series. The image was made by taking two photos one after the other from roughly eye distance apart. I had to rotate them slightly to the left, as it's almost impossible to achieve an exact horizontal when holding the camera. The lens was on a moderate zoom setting. This subject is ideal for stereoscopic photography.
