Sharjah is only a few kilometres away from Dubai but has a completely different atmosphere. When you drive along Al Ittehad (Federation) Road linking Dubai and Sharjah, it's as if you've crossed from an ultra-modern, cosmopolitan Middle Eastern metropolis with overtones of America, Britain, Europe and Asia, to one that's still modern, but more conservative and restrictive.

Sharjah has chosen to develop itself as a place of tradition, culture, education and religion.

Sharjah befindet sich nur wenige Kilometer von Dubai entfernt, hat aber eine ganz andere Atmosphäre. Sharjah im Gegensatz ist auch eine moderne und internationale Stadt, aber viel konservativer und restriktiver.
