John Lennon lived with his aunt Mimi at number 251 Menlove Avenue from 1945 to 1963. John Lennon's former home is a National Trust property. It's possible to visit on pre-booked tours from Liverpool city centre or Speke Hall.
It's fantastic that the National Trust have small properties like this as well as palaces and stately homes. You can almost hear John Lennon practicing his guitar in the front porch, as he liked to do.
