Looking from Deira across the Creek at night towards Bur Dubai. The blue neon lights of the Bank of Baroda (India) are reflected in the choppy waters. Further down to the right is HSBC bank, formerly the British Bank of the Middle East. A great way to see Dubai is to hire an abra, like the one on the right. The views are great whether by day or by night. The Creek looks like a river but it's just an inlet from the Gulf, and gives Dubai a character of 'somewhere else' - shades of India, Iran, Egypt, maybe even Hong Kong.
