A great way to see Dubai is to hire an abra, like the one on the right. The views are great whether by day or by night. The Creek looks like a river but it's just an inlet from the Gulf, and gives Dubai a character of 'somewhere else' - shades of India, Iran, Egypt, maybe even Hong Kong.
