The facade of Wycliffe Congregational Church is a familiar sight along Wellington Road North, the A6, close to the centre of Stockport. The church has an unusual symmetrical profile based around three overlapping triangles. I am very inspired by the paintings of LS Lowry, who made drawings and paintings of local churches in a stark, geometrical style often standing directly perpendicular to the church, as I have here.
