The cooling towers, power hall and chimney of Fiddlers Ferry power station are a dominant feature on the horizon west of Manchester. Viewpoint is the 38th floor of the Beetham Hilton tower and the distance is almost exactly 20 miles (32 km).

We are looking across Trafford Park, Urmston, and north Warrington. In the lower left corner is the Golden Tulip hotel near the Manchester United ground. The spire in the distance centre left is Warrington Parish Church.
