We are travelling east across the desert. This stretch of the highway between Dhaid and Masafi looks impressive because the gentle rise and fall of the land. There was early morning fog in Dubai and Sharjah. Here there's still some mist on the horizon. In the distance we can see the Hajjar mountain range, which extends from the Musandam peninsula in the north, to Oman in the south.

VAE Sharjah: Schnellstrasse zur Ostküste
Wir fahren Richtung Osten und überqueren die Wüste. Diese Strecke der Schnellstrasse zwischen Dhaid und Masafi sieht wegen der hügeligen Landschaft sehr schön aus. Am frühen Morgen gab es Nebel in Dubai und Sharjah. Hier bleibt noch etwas Dunst auf dem Horizont. In der Ferne sehen wir die Hadschar- Gebirgskette, die sich von der Musandam -Halbinsel im Norden bis zum Oman im Süden erstreckt. (Übersetzung von Isabella Turner)
