The Cordillera coffee shop just off Xavierville Ave, Loyola Heights, Quezon City, specialises in home grown coffee and other locally produced food and drink.There's a choice of coffee-based drinks and cakes, plus a light meal menu with risotto, fried noodles, spaghetti and more, all prepared by chef Gene Gonzalez. The coffee served here is produced exclusively in the Cordillera region of the Philippines.

Yes, the Philippines produces its own coffee, and the quality is excellent - strong and slightly bitter. The cakes are delicious too and not too heavy, unlike the light meals which are in fact quite generous. Prices start at only 70 pesos (70p or 1.30 US dollars). Watch out for Cordillera coffee, it could be everywhere soon.
