The final resting place of Concorde aircraft G-BOAC is in the Aviation Viewing Park at Manchester Airport. The supersonic plane stands on its own section of specially laid runway as part of the display. The Aviation Viewing Park is a short distance from the M56 Junction 6 at the A538 roundabouts, next to Cloughbank Farm. It's sad to see Concorde permanently grounded, but there were overwhelming technical and economic reasons why its working life had to be cut short.
