Pear Mill seen from M60 motorway at dusk

Pear Mill is a refurbished mill situated next to the river Goyt near Stockport town centre. Its distinctive pear- shaped tower is a prominent landmark to the east of Stockport. This view is from the Brinnington Road bridge over the M60 motorway. It can also be seen from aircraft on their final approach to Manchester Airport.
