The Palace Hotel stands on Oxford Street in Manchester city centre. Its clock tower is a prominent feature on the Manchester skyline/ In this image, we see the Palace Hotel at dusk seen from thee main entrance of Oxford Road Station This image was captured at 2 minutes past 7 on the evening of Wednesday 27th of March 2002. It's a cloudles night and there's a full moon, which I have slightly enlarged. When the moon is low in the sky it appears larger than it actually is. When it is higher in the sky we still 'zoom in' with our eyes and 'mental camera'. Many thanks to John Irwin for his feedback about this picture.
