The Liver Building just after dusk is seen here from Seacombe on the Wirral, just next to the Mersey Ferry terminal. In late February, sunset is around 6pm. The lights are on in most of the windows. The clock tower on the side overlooking the Mersey is silhouetted against the dusk sky. The clock tower is illuminated. The rear clock tower is lit up by rooftop floodlights. In the foreground are the floating jetties along the Pier Head. The time shown on the clock faces is slightly different.
The Liver Building is one of the most magnificent builidngs in the North West and the UK. Its American-influenced style of architecture reminds me of buildings in Chicago.
