The view from our a back window in Stockport during snowy weather. This was how the scene looked on Tuesday the 5th of January 2010. Snow has piled up on the road surface, on cars, on roofs, even telephone wires.

Tuesday 5 Jan was the start of the cold spell of snowy weather that caused disruption including travel delays and the closure of schools.

Technical details:	Sony Alpha A350 digital SLR camera - This is a 'point and shoot' photo, taken on auto settings. I could perhaps have lightened the image using the exposure compensation control but as I remember, looking from inside the house with the lights on, this is how the outside looked. The daylight was dimmed by thick snowclouds and falling snow.
