Bus shelter A556

This concrete bus shelter stands on the A556 Chester Road in Cheshire near the point where it merges with the A54. The stop is marked as Stoney Lane.

I find the design of the shelter interesting. The concrete construction with window panes, most now broken, is typical of an earlier age. Even bus shelters are important pieces of architecture! In a few years this bus shelter will be gone but at least I have taken the photo! This location would be good for a period film set in the 70s or 80s.
