A vision of barrels, bales, barrows, tools, boxes and other objects transformed into a permanent artwork recalling the days when this location saw the loading and unloading of ocean-going ships. Since the closure of the Manchester Docks in the 1970's a new waterside residential and commercial district has appeared, now known as The Quays. The artwork is a wonderful reminder of how this scene used to be until very recently. This image used in a tutorial in my Q&A / Hotline pages in Digital Camera Magazine, March 2004 edition.
