The statue of George Best, Denis Law and Bobby Charlton is the work of sculptor Philip Jackson and stands opposite the Manchester United football ground on Matt Busby Way (formerly Warwick Road), Old Trafford, Manchester (Borough of Trafford). The 'Manchester United Trinity' sculpture was officially unveiled on the 29th of May 2008, exactly forty years after Manchester United won the European Cup for the first time. Philip Jackson's sculpture of Charlton, Best and Law is probably Manchester's most looked at and photographed piece of public art. Every day countless fans have their photo taken in front of it. The figures unmistakably capture the character of each of the players. The real Denis Law and Bobby Charlton are still regular visitors to Old Trafford.
