EYEWITNESS IN MANCHESTER LIVE EVENTS EYEWITNESS IN MANCHESTER IS PRIMARILY AN INTERNET-BASED PUBLICATION, serving an audience across the world, but I would also like to make direct contact with people in Manchester and the north west. To achieve this, I am planning to run regular Eyewitness in Manchester events, in which I will present photographs, information and opinion to a live audience, and invite them to respond with information and opinion of their own. The events will take place in the evening. Exact times, venues and admission price are to be decided. The events will effectively provide a live, interactive and face-to-face version of the website, primarily aimed at people in Manchester, though I hope people from abroad visiting Manchester will also be able to attend. |

| Photographs wll
be projected in large format onto a screen and I will talk about them in
much the same way as I write about them on the pages of the website. As
we go along I will invite people to add their observations and express their
opinions both in speech and in writing on feedback forms. The material will
be transcribed, edited and presented on the website.
