The elevated section of the Mancunian Way A57(M) affords
great views over the city centre, though it doesn't look especially photogenic
on a grey (some would say 'typically Mancunian') day like today . Landmarks
include the CIS building, City Tower (former Sunley Tower centre left)
and the Refuge Building, now Palace Hotel (right). The former mills along
Cambridge Street - now being converted into apartments - are in the foreground,
with two of the last remaining chimneys in Manchester.
