In the aidan.co.uk PhotoGuide website I bring together all my interests and experience and one of the most important is education.
I’ve been involved in teaching since 1983 and I have a strong desire to explain about things and help people to understand and improve, whether in languages or photography or some other subject.
The content of this site is drawn partly from the articles and audio I have prepared for my students of English language.
Other material is based on my experience writing about the local area. People have often said that my work is educational, as it helps people to learn about the history of the world around us.
Whenever I write, I try to do it in clear English so that it’s understandable by people who are learning the language. On this site I aim to provide an audio track for every article, and for every video, there will be subtitles, or a transcript, or both.
In addition to the transcript, I aim to provide further extra documents to help learners and teachers.
